Foreign Object In The Nose: First Aid
By Matt Unangst, 03 Mar 23:17
If you get a foreign object stuck in your nose, don’t try to push the object out with your finger or an implement. Do not try to inhale the object into your body, rather blow gently through your nose to dislodge the object. Hold your other nostril closed to focus your breath on the nostril in which the object is lodged.
If you can easily see the object and grip it with tweezers, remove the object from your nose. Don’t try to remove the object if you cannot see it clearly or grab it tightly.
Call 911 if you are unable to remove the object using these techniques.
